The story
Copra is dried in open air for four days, then pressed slowly in a wooden expeller at below 40 °C. Because we press within twelve hours of drying, the oil retains its natural aroma instead of the flat note that heat processing leaves behind.
This is a food oil as much as a household one. It smokes at a high temperature, so it behaves well for frying, tempering and skin care alike.
